We would love to meet you.

Visit either home, meet the caregivers, and see how the day really feels. Come at mealtime if you can — there is always a place for you at the table.

Tell us a little, and we'll call you back.

Nothing here commits you to anything at all. Most families call first, come for a visit, and take a week or two to decide — and that is exactly how it should be.

For families

What happens next, step by step.

Most families are doing this for the first time. Here is the whole process, written out plainly, so there are no surprises along the way.

The admission process

  1. A phone call — tell us what has been happening at home.
  2. A tour of the house you are considering.
  3. A nurse assessment of mobility, medications, memory, diet and routine.
  4. A physician's form completed by your doctor.
  5. A written agreement with one monthly figure.
  6. Move-in day, scheduled around your family.

What to bring

  • Bed, chair, dresser and bedside table if you would like the room furnished your own way
  • Photographs, quilts and the things that make a room recognisable
  • Two weeks of comfortable, easy-to-launder clothing, labelled
  • Current medications in their original pharmacy packaging
  • Insurance cards, physician contacts and any advance directives
  • Toiletries and preferred personal products

Pricing

Pricing depends on the room type and the level of care, and it is quoted as a single monthly figure after an in-person assessment — no à la carte charges for help with dressing or a second shower.

Call us for the current rate sheet, or ask for it during your tour. We will also tell you plainly whether long-term care insurance or VA benefits are likely to apply.

What a tour looks like

About forty-five minutes. No pressure, no clipboard.

1 · Walk the house

Every room, including the ones most tours skip — the kitchen, the laundry, and the bathroom your mom or dad would actually use.

2 · Meet the caregivers

Not just the director — the caregivers on shift, who will happily tell you what a harder day looks like if you ask them.

3 · Talk numbers plainly

Room availability, the monthly figure for the care needed, and what the move-in week involves — in writing, before you leave.

Still wondering whether to call?

Please do. Tell us about the week you have just had, and we will give you our honest thoughts — even when the answer is "not just yet."
